Why We Love This House
51 Hamilton Avenue, South Hamilton, MA

We love this house because of its location. The house lies within walking distance of downtown Hamilton, the Hamilton-Wenham commuter rail station, Cutler Elementary School, the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, and the playgrounds at both Patton Park in Hamilton and Pingree Park in Wenham. Our section of Hamilton Avenue is practically a cul-de-sac, so it carries very little traffic. Our neighbors are friendly, helpful and fun to be around, creating a wonderful welcoming neighborhood for our whole family. The Hamilton-Wenham school system is very highly regarded, and we are thankful that our children have had the opportunity to learn in such a great environment. The local market and pharmacy are just blocks away, and we can reach two large shopping malls after a few minutes of driving.

We also love this house because of many wonderful features it offers, as well as several improvements that have made it a more comfortable home for us. These features and improvements include:
• a cozy living room with bay windows
• the kitchen window looking out onto the fenced back yard where our children play
• a beautiful bathroom on the first floor, added in June 2004
• a fine laundry room added in June 2004
• a remodeled kitchen updated in June 2004
• pleasant dining room with new chandelier
• three bedrooms and bathroom together on second floor
• ceiling fans in all bedrooms
• two bedrooms and upstairs hallway newly carpeted in October 2006
• plenty of cabinet space in kitchen and additional cabinet space in laundry room
• accessible storage space in attic
• new windows on second floor and in two rooms on first floor
• new gas furnace in February 2005
• new roof in November 2005
• new cement walk and landscape timber framework at front of house
• easy-to-maintain back yard
• storage shed for outdoor equipment, tools and bicycles
• safe, friendly neighborhood for children
